PORTO INTERNATIONAL PICKLEBALL OPEN
The Open Internacional de Pickleball do Porto wishes to establish a bridge between the European Pickleball scene and the starting Portuguese Pickleball scene, allowing Portuguese players and the local audience to experience a high level pickleball competitive environment.
Despite being played in the US since the 60’s, it is a fairly new sport in Europe, with less than 10 years of development in most of European countries. Pickleball has just started in Portugal and the Open Internacional de Pickleball do Porto’s main mission is to shorten this development gap and bring awareness and recognition of this sport in Portugal.
