Esta mostra resulta de conversas entre o artista Agostinho Santos e o patologista Manuel Sobrinho Simões sobre o cancro. Curada por Felícia de Sousa, a exposição apresenta diferentes narrativas que exploram a dualidade entre “domesticar o eu selvagem” e “o confronto belicista com o estranho”.

Agostinho Santos (n. 1960) é um pintor, curador, escritor e jornalista português premiado, com uma vasta carreira nacional e internacional. Ele é Diretor da Bienal Internacional de Arte de Gaia e Presidente da Artistas de Gaia – Cooperativa Cultural.

This exhibition stems from dialogues between artist Agostinho Santos and pathologist Manuel Sobrinho Simões about cancer. Curated by Felícia de Sousa, it delves into contrasting narratives, exploring the duality between “taming the wild self” and “a bellicose confrontation with the stranger.”

Agostinho Santos (b. 1960) is an award-winning Portuguese painter, curator, writer, and journalist with an extensive national and international career. He is the Director of the Gaia International Art Biennale and President of the Artistas de Gaia – Cultural Cooperative.
