“Furo Lento” é uma proposta única de western distópico criada por Rui Paixão, que mergulha em uma eco-ficção sombria sobre a inabitabilidade do planeta e a ideia obscena da colonização espacial. Utilizando uma fusão de teatro físico e circo, o espetáculo propõe uma reflexão crítica sobre os rumos da humanidade e o destino incerto da Terra.
O espetáculo é uma verdadeira provocação ao nosso frágil futuro e à maldita diversidade dos cenários possíveis. Como Wladimir Kaminer escreveu: “O pior do futuro é a sua maldita diversidade. Basicamente, tudo pode acontecer a qualquer momento.”

“Slow Hole” is a unique dystopian western created by Rui Paixão, diving into a eco-fiction exploring the uninhabitability of the planet and the obscene idea of space colonization. Using a blend of physical theater and circus, the performance offers a critical reflection on the course of humanity and the uncertain fate of Earth.
This piece is a true provocation to our fragile future and the cursed diversity of possible scenarios. As Wladimir Kaminer wrote: “The worst part of the future is its cursed diversity. Basically, anything can happen at any moment.”
With emotional triggers such as gunshot sounds and strobe lights, “Slow Hole” is an intense and thought-provoking sensory experience. The performance will be subtitled in English.
