Um espetáculo-intervenção sobre resiliência artística num sistema precário
Nos dias 22 e 23 de maio, às 21h30, o Teatro Municipal Constantino Nery acolhe Cultura de Ferro, uma criação do coletivo Amanda, integrada na programação do FITEI 48.
A peça nasce de um orçamento drasticamente reduzido, revelando a tensão entre ambição artística e realidade financeira. A proposta inicial — uma reflexão sobre a viagem como forma de pensar o mundo e o lugar dos artistas — transforma-se num statement coletivo, onde a precariedade é assumida como parte integrante do espetáculo.
Sem meios, mas com vontade, a companhia decide não desistir, mas sim reconfigurar o projeto, tornando-o numa metáfora viva da luta diária dos trabalhadores da cultura. Um espetáculo interativo que convida o público a mergulhar nas contradições, ironias e forças invisíveis que moldam a criação artística em contexto de escassez.
Porque “mais vale continuar do que quebrar”.

An interactive performance about artistic resilience under precarious conditions
On May 22 and 23, at 9:30 PM, Teatro Municipal Constantino Nery presents Cultura de Ferro, a bold creation by the Amanda collective, part of the FITEI 48 programme.
Born from a drastically cut budget, the piece unveils the often-hidden struggles of creating meaningful art with scarce resources. Originally conceived as a meditation on travel and artistic identity, the work transforms into a live statement about resistance and survival in the cultural sector.
Rather than cancelling the production, the artists adapt — turning the challenge into the very essence of the piece. An interactive performance that confronts the audience with the realities of underfunded creativity, and the will to continue, even when the system says otherwise.
Because “it’s better to continue than to break.”
