Na próxima quinta-feira, 17 de abril de 2025, das 17:00 às 18:00, terá lugar uma conversa enriquecedora na Alfândega do Porto, com Joana Antunes e Rita Roque.

Neste encontro, serão abordadas questões sobre o Apocalipse a partir de uma perspetiva artística. Será o fim do mundo um acontecimento cíclico? Como a arte tem imaginado o que está por vir e como se faz essa antevisão, sistematicamente concebendo visões do futuro? Joana Antunes conduzirá um diálogo que mergulha na época medieval, utilizando as cosmovisões da exposição Revelação, para fazer uma ponte com um presente que, em princípio, está sempre mais próximo do fim.

Next Thursday, April 17, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM, join Joana Antunes and Rita Roque for an insightful conversation at the Alfândega do Porto.

This conversation will explore how the Apocalypse can be thought of from an artistic perspective. Is the end of the world a cyclical event? How has art envisioned what is to come, systematically creating visions or anticipations of the future? Joana Antunes will lead a dialogue that delves into the medieval era, using the cosmological perspectives from the Revelation exhibition to bridge the past with a present that is always closer to the end.
