“Almas do Porto” | Visita Guiada ao Cemitério da Ordem da Trindade

No próximo dia 13 de junho de 2026, às 15h00, convidamo-lo(a) a participar numa visita guiada ao Cemitério da Ordem da Trindade, integrado no emblemático Cemitério de Agramonte, no Porto.

Ao longo deste percurso, terá a oportunidade de descobrir símbolos, memórias e personalidades que marcaram a história da cidade, num espaço onde património, arte e silêncio se cruzam de forma singular. Trata-se de uma experiência de descoberta por um local raramente explorado, onde cada detalhe guarda uma narrativa e cada monumento testemunha um legado, revelando a riqueza histórica, artística e simbólica deste importante núcleo cemiterial.

Inaugurado em 1855, o Cemitério de Agramonte é um dos mais importantes exemplos de cemitério romântico em Portugal. Com os seus 12 hectares de património artístico, histórico e natural, constitui um verdadeiro museu ao ar livre, onde a memória da cidade se preserva entre árvores centenárias, esculturas e monumentos funerários de elevado valor patrimonial.

No seu interior encontra-se o cemitério privativo da Ordem da Trindade, inaugurado em 1872 e intimamente ligado à história social, religiosa e urbana do Porto. Durante esta visita, terá oportunidade de conhecer a sua capela privativa, o notável jazigo do Conde de Ferreira – associado ao escultor Soares dos Reis – e muitas das histórias e simbolismos que fazem deste espaço um testemunho singular da evolução da cidade.

Throughout this tour, you will have the opportunity to discover symbols, memories, and personalities that have shaped the history of the city, in a space where heritage, art, and silence come together in a unique way. Established in 1855, Agramonte Cemetery is one of the most significant examples of a Romantic cemetery in Portugal. Covering 12 hectares of artistic, historical, and natural heritage, it is a true open-air museum where the memory of the city is preserved among century-old trees, sculptures, and funerary monuments of great cultural value.

Within its grounds lies the private cemetery of the Order of the Trinity, inaugurated in 1872 and closely linked to the social, religious, and urban history of Porto. During this visit, participants will have the opportunity to explore its private chapel, the remarkable mausoleum of the Count of Ferreira – associated with the renowned sculptor Soares dos Reis – and many of the stories and symbols that make this site a unique testimony to the city’s evolution.
