Para equilibrar sua vida privilegiada, Amon dedica-se à caça, mas suas presas não são animais.

Veni Vidi Vici é uma sátira política ácida sobre o poder absoluto dos super-ricos, no estilo de Triângulo da Tristeza. Os realizadores Daniel Hoesl e Julia Niemann exploram o fascínio pelo proibido e lançam um olhar crítico sobre o poder, a moralidade e uma sociedade onde a justiça e a injustiça dependem frequentemente do estatuto social.

The film Veni Vidi Vici follows the life of the Maynard family, who live in luxury and prestige. Viktoria pretends to be a lawyer dedicated to justice, while her husband Amon, an influential investor, works on large financial projects. To balance their privileged life, Amon engages in hunting – but his prey are not animals.

Veni Vidi Vici is an acid political satire about the absolute power of the super-rich, in the style of Triangle of Sadness. Directors Daniel Hoesl and Julia Niemann explore the fascination with the forbidden and offer a critical view of power, morality, and a society where justice and injustice often depend on social status.

The film had its world premiere at the Best Foreign Film competition at the Sundance Film Festival 2024.
