Studnitzky feat. Andrii Pokaz + Per Zanussi and Vestnorsk Jazzemsemble · Outono em Jazz
A colaboração entre o trompetista alemão Studnitzky e o pianista ucraniano Andrii Pokaz resulta num tecido sonoro mutante, feito de jazz, música clássica e eletrónica, com uma forte carga de improvisação. O primeiro, ex-membro dos Jazzanova e fundador do XJazz Festival, em Berlim, tem uma linguagem musical muito própria, exploratória e agregadora de vários géneros; o segundo, com formação de piano clássico pelo Conservatório de Odessa, é hoje um dos principais pianistas de jazz em atividade no teatro de guerra. Juntos celebram a magia dos encontros artísticos.
Criado pelo músico e multi-instrumentista Jorge Queijo, o ensemble Nelembe nasceu de ritmos de bateria gravados ao acaso e guardados num disco rígido. A partir deles, e em plena pandemia, Queijo desenvolveu um conceito musical que ultrapassa fronteiras e estilos, pondo em confronto o afrobeat, o highlife, a soul, o funk e o jazz.

The collaboration between the German trumpeter Studnitzky and the Ukrainian pianist Andrii Pokaz results in a mutant sound fabric made of jazz, classical and electronic music, with a strong improvisational charge. The first, a former member of Jazzanova and founder of the XJazz Festival, in Berlin, has a musical language of his own, exploratory and aggregating various genres; the second, with classical piano training at the Odessa Conservatory, is today one of the main jazz pianists working in the theatre of war. Together they celebrate the magic of artistic encounters.
