Olha-me nos Olhos, uma peça de João Ferreira, transporta o público para um futuro distópico, onde um bar resiste como o último refúgio do amor e da humanidade. Numa noite enigmática, guiada pela misteriosa proprietária, as fronteiras entre a realidade e a ficção começam a desaparecer, revelando as memórias fragmentadas deste universo.

Ao longo desta narrativa não linear, personagens de diferentes gerações e trajetórias buscam autenticidade em um mundo onde a tecnologia nos molda. À medida que os seus percursos se entrelaçam, o espetáculo questiona se, em tempos de crise, ainda há espaço para a individualidade ou se estamos todos num grande coro grego, onde as relações humanas se tornam a última resistência.

Olha-me nos Olhos é um apelo à preservação dos espaços de convivência e das conexões humanas, desafiando espectadores e personagens a refletirem sobre o que resta quando o mundo começa a desmoronar. Neste último ato, um espetáculo encenado com cuidado, questiona-se: será este o fim da história, ou apenas o começo de algo novo?

Description:

Look Me in the Eyes, a play by João Ferreira, takes the audience to a dystopian future where a bar remains the last refuge of love and humanity. On an enigmatic night, guided by its mysterious owner, the boundaries between reality and fiction blur, revealing fragmented memories of this universe.

In this non-linear narrative, characters from different generations and backgrounds seek authenticity in a world where technology shapes and molds us. As their paths intertwine, the play questions whether there is still space for individuality when, in times of crisis, we might be united in a great Greek chorus.

Look Me in the Eyes is a call to preserve spaces of connection and human bonds, challenging both characters and audiences to reflect on what remains when the world begins to crumble. In this carefully staged final act, it asks: is this the last act before silence, or merely the beginning of something new?
