Este filme, inédito em Portugal, terá a sua estreia em sala nesta retrospetiva.

Nacional III é uma sátira mordaz à decadência da aristocracia espanhola durante a transição política do país. A história começa no contexto do golpe de Estado de 1981, acompanhando a família Leguineche e suas desventuras em busca de sobrevivência e lucro, em meio a uma Espanha em transformação.

On May 18, 2025, at 5 PM, the Serralves Museum presents the eleventh session of the Luis García Berlanga retrospective, featuring the screening of Nacional III (1982), the final film in the famous “national trilogy”. This film, never before shown in Portugal, will have its premiere in this retrospective.

Nacional III is a biting satire of the Spanish aristocracy’s decline during the country’s political transition. The story begins against the backdrop of the 1981 coup, following the Leguineche family and their desperate attempts to survive and profit in a transforming Spain.
