FIRST BLUES BAND IN PORTUGAL

The style of the Minnemann Blues Band is Jump Blues. They play only originals composed by Minnemann.
The band played already in every big Concert Hall and Club in Portugal having participated in many TV shows.
In 1980 Minnemann produced his first album Bluindo. Rui Veloso was his guitar plays at that time. Manuzé played the electric bass.
In 1997 he recorded part of the CD Blusiadas, already with the guitar of António Mão de Ferro.
In 2001, at the Jazz Festival Funchal, Madeira the band received excellent critics afterwards they played on the festivals of the Açores, in Gaia.
In 2006, at the Simply Blues Festival the band is considered the best non American blues band ever.
2008 Lourosa Blues Festival and Santa Maria Festival, Açores.
2010 a new album with originals by Minnemann, Blues 88
2010 opening Band of the Transblues Festival Bejar, Salamanca
2011 Gaia Jazz and Blues Festival
2011 Live Concert in Hamburg, Germany
2011 a completely new sound with Paulo Veloso, Hammond and Leandro Leonet, drums.
