Descrição do Evento:
Nesta roda de ler, vamos nos reunir para ler em voz alta textos de pensadores decoloniais, feministas e antirracistas. O encontro terá a duração de uma hora, e será uma oportunidade para nos conectarmos através da leitura, praticando um ato de resistência em um mundo onde o tempo é cada vez mais monetizado, inclusive nas artes.
Qualquer pessoa é bem-vinda! É um convite para parar, ler e resistir, seja entre aulas, a caminho de casa ou durante o intervalo. A ideia é criar um espaço de presença consciente, onde possamos compartilhar diferentes vozes e entonações, comprometidos com ideias de resistência decolonial e feminista no cotidiano da faculdade.

The Nucleus of Immigrants of Fine Arts – NIBA invites you to OUT LOUD, a reading circle taking place biweekly throughout the academic year at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Porto (FBAUP).

Event Description:
In this reading circle, we will gather to read aloud texts from decolonial, feminist, and anti-racist thinkers. The meeting will last one hour, providing an opportunity to connect through reading while practicing an act of resistance in a world where time is increasingly monetized, including in the arts.
Everyone is welcome! It’s an invitation to stop, read, and resist—whether between classes, on the way home, or during a break. The idea is to create a space of conscious presence where we can share different voices and tones, committed to decolonial and feminist resistance ideas in the daily life of the faculty.
