📖 “EIS-NOS” no Festival MARÉ ALTA 📖
No próximo dia 19 de abril de 2025, às 19h00, o Festival MARÉ ALTA recebe uma nova apresentação de “EIS-NOS”, agora em formato de leitura coletiva, no Salão Nobre da Junta de Freguesia do Bonfim. Esta será a segunda atividade do festival, dando continuidade ao diálogo entre criação artística e memória coletiva.
A leitura reúne textos, canções, cartas, orações e outros materiais desenvolvidos durante a criação do espetáculo estreado em maio de 2023, no Café Concerto Francisco Beja. A sessão marca também o lançamento do livro «Um registo de “Eis-nos”», que preserva esse processo criativo plural e profundamente íntimo.
Inspirado na obra “Novas Cartas Portuguesas” de Maria Teresa Horta, Maria Isabel Barreno e Maria Velho da Costa, o projeto funde o passado e o presente, explorando as vivências de ser mulher antes e depois do 25 de Abril. Com texto e música originais, é um convite à escuta, ao canto e à partilha — agora, mais do que nunca.

📖 “EIS-NOS” at the MARÉ ALTA Festival 📖
On April 19, 2025, at 7:00 PM, the MARÉ ALTA Festival presents a new, more intimate format of “EIS-NOS”, a collective reading taking place at the Main Hall of the Bonfim Parish Council. This is the festival’s second activity, continuing its mission to connect artistic creation with collective memory.
The reading brings together texts, songs, letters, prayers, and other materials created during the making of the original performance, premiered in May 2023 at Café Concerto Francisco Beja. The session also marks the launch of the book “A record of ‘Eis-nos’”, which compiles the full creative journey.
Inspired by the groundbreaking book “New Portuguese Letters” by Maria Teresa Horta, Maria Isabel Barreno, and Maria Velho da Costa, the project weaves together Portugal’s past and present, reflecting on the experience of being a woman before and after the 1974 revolution. With original text and music, it’s an invitation to listen, to sing, and to stand together — loudly and clearly.
