De 30 de novembro a 7 de dezembro de 2024, o Fisga Warehouse apresenta a exposição Corpo Vegetal de Giulia Yoshimura, uma artista plástica e muralista natural de São Paulo, Brasil. A mostra é um convite sensorial que explora a relação íntima entre a artista e o universo botânico, que remonta à sua infância e se reflete nas suas práticas artísticas atuais.
Nesta primeira exposição individual, Giulia, também conhecida como MURA, apresenta um conjunto de obras desenvolvidas durante o seu Mestrado em Artes Plásticas pela Faculdade de Belas-Artes da Universidade do Porto. As obras dialogam entre si, conectando a memória da infância da artista com o seu trabalho atual, incluindo murais que já coloriram as ruas do Porto. A exposição é um convite à reflexão sobre nossa capacidade de conexão e empatia com os territórios e espécies que nos cercam.

A celebration of flora and the connection between art and nature
From November 30th to December 7th, 2024, Fisga Warehouse presents the exhibition Corpo Vegetal by Giulia Yoshimura, a Brazilian artist based in Portugal. The exhibition invites visitors to explore the deep connection between the artist and the botanical universe, a relationship rooted in her childhood and reflected in her current artistic practices.
In this first solo exhibition, Giulia, also known as MURA, showcases a series of works created during her Master’s in Fine Arts at the University of Porto’s Faculty of Fine Arts. These works speak to one another, bridging the memories of her childhood with her present-day practice, including murals that have brought color to the streets of Porto. The exhibition serves as an invitation to reflect on our ability to connect and empathize with the territories and species surrounding us.
