CONCERTO DUPLO: MIGUEL MARÔCO E FRANCISCO FONTES Miguel Marôco começa a escrever canções por volta de 2017, sem grande expectativa ou ambição. Na sombra, vai fazendo crescer o seu repertório, escrevendo em Português e Inglês, e é apenas em 2020 que apresenta o seu primeiro trabalho – o EP Noite – ao público. Participa, depois, na 55a edição do Festival da Canção como vencedor do concurso de livre submissão com o tema Girassol; lança dois singles, Contas à Vida e Lobo do Mar; e no final de 2021 lança a sua primeiro longa duração – Marôco. Agora, aventura-se para os palcos, apresentando a obra que tem vindo a reunir. O que prepara é um concerto variado e com muitos contrastes: do indie rock ao fusion, do elétrico ao acústico, do enérgico ao intimista; para ilustrar uma procura da quebra da barreira dos géneros, que se tem vindo a tornar a sua marca distintiva.

É como baterista autodidata que Francisco Fontes entra no panorama da música, até assumir a sua carreira a solo no início de 2021 com o lançamento do EP ‘Gravidade’. A necessidade de mostrar que as suas canções podem transcender a voz e a guitarra, preservando ao mesmo tempo o seu carácter, dá então origem ao lançamento dos singles ‘Vagabundos’ no final de 2021 e ‘Cosmopolita’ em 2022, o ano em que integra a coletânea dos Novos Talentos Fnac e começa a gravar o seu novo disco intitulado ‘Cosmopolita’. Francisco cria nas suas canções uma atmosfera aparentemente vulgar, onde a simplicidade se descobre paralelamente à suavidade da sua voz, que difunde cada poema de forma percetiva e singular. É da nossa vontade e interesse que o concerto seja em nosso jardim, caso as condições climatéricas não permitam, será no interior com uma lotação máxima de 60 pessoas. Portanto faz já tua reserva.

Miguel Marôco starts writing songs around 2017, without great expectation or ambition. In the shadows, he grew his repertoire, writing in Portuguese and English, and it was only in 2020 that he presented his first work – the EP Noite (Night) – to the public. He then participates in the 55th edition of the Festival da Canção as the winner of the free submission contest with the song Girassol; he releases two singles, Contas à Vida and Lobo do Mar; and at the end of 2021 he releases his first full length – Marôco. Now he ventures onto the stage, presenting the work he has been gathering. What he is preparing is a varied concert with many contrasts: from indie rock to fusion, from electric to acoustic, from energetic to intimate; to illustrate a search for breaking the barrier of genres, which has become his distinguishing mark.

It is as a self-taught drummer that Francisco Fontes enters the music scene, until assuming his solo career in early 2021 with the release of the EP ‘Gravidade’. The need to show that his songs can transcend the voice and the guitar, while preserving his character, then gives rise to the release of the singles ‘Vagabundos’ in late 2021 and ‘Cosmopolita’ in 2022, the year in which he joins the collection of New Talents Fnac and starts recording his new album entitled ‘Cosmopolita’. Francisco creates in his songs a seemingly ordinary atmosphere, where simplicity is discovered alongside the softness of his voice, which diffuses each poem in a perceptive and singular way.
