A abertura oficial do KULTURfest 2025 – Festival de Culturas de Expressão Alemã celebra-se com a inauguração da exposição “60 anos da comunidade portuguesa na Alemanha”, organizada pela Fundação Friedrich Ebert, na Reitoria da Universidade do Porto.
A exposição traça o percurso histórico da migração portuguesa para a Alemanha, desde o acordo bilateral de recrutamento de mão-de-obra, até aos dias de hoje, destacando aspetos sociais, culturais e intergeracionais da comunidade. Uma oportunidade de refletir sobre identidade, pertença e legado, através de testemunhos visuais e narrativas reais.

The official opening of KULTURfest 2025 – Festival of German-speaking Cultures begins with the inauguration of the exhibition “60 Years of the Portuguese Community in Germany”, organized by the Friedrich Ebert Foundation, at the Rectory of the University of Porto.
The exhibition explores the historical journey of Portuguese migration to Germany, starting with the labour recruitment agreement between both countries. It sheds light on cultural and social aspects often overlooked, while reflecting on the challenges faced by younger generations in maintaining their language and heritage.
