Sobre o Evento:
O II Festival de Leitura da Maia é uma iniciativa da Câmara Municipal da Maia, em colaboração com a Rede de Bibliotecas da Maia e as Bibliotecas Escolares da Rede Pública. O objetivo principal do evento é estimular o gosto pela leitura, melhorar o domínio da língua portuguesa e promover a compreensão e interpretação de textos.
No dia 16 de março, o Festival trará a leitura de “O Príncipe Feliz” de Oscar Wilde (16h00-17h00), que será uma experiência enriquecedora para os participantes. O evento destina-se a alunos do 1.º, 2.º e 3.º ciclos do ensino básico e alunos do ensino secundário, sendo uma excelente oportunidade para aprofundar o amor pela leitura.

About the Event:
The II Maia Reading Festival is an initiative of the Maia City Council in collaboration with the Maia Library Network and the School Libraries of the Public Network. The festival’s main goal is to encourage the love for reading, improve the mastery of the Portuguese language, and promote comprehension and interpretation skills.
On March 16, the festival will feature the reading of “The Happy Prince” by Oscar Wilde (4:00 PM – 5:00 PM), providing a great opportunity for attendees to engage with a classic story. The event targets students from the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd cycles of basic education, as well as high school students, making it a fantastic way to foster a deeper appreciation for literature.
